Former AKB48 member Aika Ota (who is also a former member of HKT48) has officially announced that she is pregnant with her first child in an official post on Instagram, celebrating the news for her and her husband Lotte Marines outfielder Koki Yamaguchi.
Ota, who is also known as Lovetan said: “We are delighted to welcome a new life into our family. I am now in the late stages of pregnancy. Initially, we planned to share the news only after the birth, but it became difficult to keep it private, so we decided to announce it now.”
“Every day, I feel our baby moving energetically inside me, and I can’t wait to meet them. Once the baby is born, I will update everyone again. Thank you for always watching over us. We appreciate your continued support.”
Lovetan joined AKB48 in 2006 as part of the group’s third-generation members before moving to HKT48 in 2012. She graduated back in 20176 so that she could focus on her acting career and would leave her talent agency in 2022, a month prior to marrying Koki Yamaguchi in November 202.
