After the explosion, Gyutaro and Daki emerge from the wreckage unscathed and looking as strong as ever. By this time, however, Tengen Uzui had suffered several injuries all over his body, but he seemed to be in good spirits. Surprised by the strength and courage of the Sound Hashira, Gyutaro praises his opponent by calling him the chosen one. He also mentions that the venom that entered his body from all the cuts he’s received thus far would have made any other Demon Slayer struggle by now, but Tengen shows no signs of weakness.
The Sound Hashira explains that he is a shinobi and that his clan has become immune to all kinds of poison from long ago. He dislikes being called the Chosen One as some of his companions only took a few days to become a Hashira while he struggled and worked hard to become a Demon Slayer for a long time. worthy of joining the extremely talented fighters. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 15 Ending: How does Daki survive despite being beheaded twice by Tengen Uzui?
Fans of the dark fantasy series probably already know that the demons can die after exposure to sunlight. The other way to get the job done is to behead the demons with Nichirin Blades. But now some of the Twelve Kizuki have come up with innovative ways to prevent their death in this way.
In Natagumo Mountain Arc, Rui decapitates himself when Tanjirou goes to decapitate him, which turns out to be a life-saving trick for the demon. Something similar happens in the Mugen Train Arc when Enmu’s body merges with the locomotive, rendering the direct decapitation of her physical body ineffective and meaningless. So while beheading demons works with Nichirin Blades, the higher-ranking demons can always come up with an innovative method to trick their enemies.
In the case of Daki, the same is true if she and her brother Gyutaro own the Upper-Rank Six. Interestingly, not only are their ranks shared, but their lives are also intertwined. So even though Tengen beheads Daki, she doesn’t die because her brother is still alive, and as long as one of them lives, the two demons can’t die.
Is Gyutaro dead or alive?
No, Gyutaro does not die in ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Season 2 Episode 15 titled ‘Gathering’. We see Tanjirou about to slit his throat when the episode ends.
